Water Cutting

MaritimService has more than 10 years experience in watercutting. In 2008 we have built a new building only for watercutting and bought a new BYJET 6030 from Bystronic, one of the most sophisticated machines in the market.

Plates

The possible size of plates is 6000 X 3000 mm, thickness for steel / stainless steel up to 200mm. Our traverse crane can handle plates with a weight of 10 tons.

Tubes

The watercutting machine has a device to cut tubes. The tubes must not be round shaped, rectangular and others are also possible. Max. diameter is 500mm, max length 5700mm. Maximum workpiece weight, round part is 500kg. The tubes shall be thickwalled, in ratio to length and diameter. This method can be very cost effective compared with milling.

Stock

On stock we have stainless steel, black steel and alloy in thickness from 1 - 100 mm. We can help you and your company with watercutting very soon. If you need some materials we don't have on stock, we can get it from one of our suplliers in a few days.

Materials

We are able to cut all kinds of material :

Metal : steel, stainless steel, hardened steel, brass, copper, aluminium ....

Sealings : rubber, Klingerit, copper ....

Plastic : POM, PVC, PE, PA, PP .....

Other materials : rock, wood, glass ....

Cutting quality

The cutting quality (smoothness, straightness of the cutted surface) depends on material, thickness and speed. We will provide advice to you to get the result you need for your application. The steering of our machine allows to do precision cut (with low cutting speed) only where it is necessary, the rest of the cut with high cutting speed. You get the quality you need and a reasonable price.

Accuracy

The accuracy of position on our machine is within a few 0,1mm. The accuracy of shape depends on thickness and cutting speed. Thin plates (up to 20mm) are +- 0,2mm, thicker plates can have a bigger deviation on the bottomside. Our experienced staff will give you advice and find the best solution for your application.
